We emphasize again: this cage meets all, absolutely all, required standards!

In addition, all ventilation openings meet the strictest standards (maximum size of 25×25 mm), all to prevent any possible injury to your dog and/or airport handling staff.
Important to note: the PP90 transport cage does not include built-in wheels. Since this is a relatively large crate (17.5 kg), keep in mind that you may need assistance moving it at the airport. This is a crate for large dogs, and its size and weight justify it!

Is the cage suitable for flying a dog with Lufthansa?
The PP90 transport cage exceeds certain size limits set by Lufthansa for transporting dogs as “Excess Baggage”.
The critical point is the cage length: while the PP90 has an impressive length of 131 cm, Lufthansa states on its website that the maximum allowed length for a cage in the cargo hold as excess baggage is only 125 cm. This means the PP90 is larger than permitted for transport as excess baggage with Lufthansa.
If you want to fly your dog with a PP90 cage on Lufthansa, it will most likely only be possible via air cargo shipment (Cargo), a process that involves higher costs and different procedures.
